The Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2024 has been successfully held for the third time at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit on 27-29 September 2024.

As many as more than 120,000 people attended to witness this prestigious international motorcycle racing event, according to data released by InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), a subsidiary of PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero) which organized the MotoGP Mandalika 2024.
The main race took place on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM Western Indonesian Time, where Spanish rider Jorge Martin secured the first place.
Pedro Acosta and Francesco Bagnaia finished in second and third place respectively. The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, was present to award the winners.
Maya Watono, Director of Marketing and Tourism Programs at InJourney, stated that this event serves as a catalyst in developing tourism destinations and is a crucial step in building Indonesia's image.
Moreover, Mandalika is expected to be a long-term investment that will have a positive impact on the region.
"Tourism sector can be the driving force of economic growth in the future. With the consistent organization of the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia, it is expected that in the next 5 to 10 years, it will provide sustainable benefits for tourism in NTB and Indonesia," Maya said in her statement on Monday, September 30, 2024.
