Confirmed That Chery iCar 03 Will Be Launched At The End of This Year!!

PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) has taken a step forward by introducing iCar 03, their first electric off-road vehicle, at the Gaikindo Indonesia Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024. Although this car has just been introduced and not yet officially for sale, the interest of Indonesian consumers in it is already very high, as evidenced by orders for hundreds of units since it was first showcased.

According to Rifkie Setiawan, Head of Brand Department at PT Chery Sales Indonesia, the iCar 03 is planned to be officially launched at the end of 2024, most likely in November or December. Inspired by the Mini Defender, the iCar 03 boasts an attractive design. Its exterior looks sturdy with sharp angles and a horizontal grille, while its lighting system uses vertical LEDs to provide optimal illumination.

The interior exudes a modern aura and strong technology. It features a floating 15.6-inch touchscreen dominating the dashboard, complemented by a 9.2-inch instrument panel. Everything is designed to give a futuristic impression to the driver and passengers.

Under the hood, the iCar 03 is equipped with an electric motor capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km per hour in just 6.5 seconds, with a maximum speed of 150 km per hour. The car's lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery comes in three capacity options: 50.63 kWh, 65.69 kWh, and 69.77 kWh. With the largest capacity, the iCar 03 can travel up to 501 km on a single charge.

With all its advantages, the iCar 03 is ready to attract attention in the Indonesian electric vehicle market.
